BSF returns four Bangladeshis

Indian Border Security Force (BSF) has returned four Bangladeshi nationals including two women, whom BSF detained for intruding into Indian territory on Friday.

Shefali, 45, and Suvas Sardar, 48, of Paikgacha upazila in Khulna, Rabindra Nath, 43, and his wifeRekha Rani, 40, of Sadar upazila in Magura were brought back to ICP Camp of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) in Benapole of Jessore around 8:00om on Friday.

The returnees told thereport24.com a human trafficker took Tk 3,500 each from them and helped them go to India, crossing Gatipara area of Benapole border.

A patrol team of BSF nabbed the Bangladeshi nationals when the latter illegally went to Joyantpur inside Indian territory, told Giribala Signh and Promila Ghosh, members of BSF team that returned the Bangladeshis.

BGB handed the four returnees to the police of Beanpole Port Police Station at night.
