Bangladesh concerned over Israel attacks on Palestinians

Special Correspondent, thereport24.com:

Bangladesh has expressed deep sadness and concern over the recent atrocities perpetrated by Israeli occupation forces on Palestinian civilians.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina wrote a letter on Sunday to Palestinian President Mahmood Abbas, in which she expressed condolences by the barbaric attack of Israel on Palestinians, the Foreign Ministry said.

“I am deeply saddened and concerned over the recent atrocities perpetrated by Israeli occupation forces during the last few days which claimed lives of several Palestinian civilians, including the seven Palestinians who died on October 9 and two innocent minors on October 10. Many others were also injured.

"While expressing our deep condolences and sympathies to the victims as well as to our Palestinian brothers, we pray for early recovery of the injured. We unequivocally denounce such acts of terror and violence and call for bringing the perpetrators involved in these heinous crimes to justice,” the letter read.

The prime minister also said in the letter: “I take this opportunity to reiterate Bangladesh’s unequivocal commitment in realizing the inalienable rights of the brotherly people of Palestine for independent homeland and a sovereign and viable State of Palestine. May the Almighty Allah give the government and the brotherly people of Palestine the strength to achieve the goal of an independent homeland.”
