A court in India has ordered the extradition of Nur Hossain, the prime suspect in the seven-murder case in Narayanganj.

Bikash Ranjan, a prosecution lawyer, told thereport24.com the court had also dismissed the case filed against Nur Hossain.

“Nur will be extradited to Bangladesh soon,” he said.

Earlier, India’s Ministry of Home Affairs ordered to dismiss all lawsuits against Nur and extradite him to Bangladesh.

Nur, who was in hiding since the murder of seven people in Narayanganj in April last year, was detained by Indian police from Kolkata on June 14.

On August 18, Indian police charged Nur and two of his associates with illegal entry into the country.
